At Swell Studios, we recently had the pleasure of capturing some beautiful moments with the Sweeney family. It’s not every day that you get to photograph such a big, loving family—four brothers and one sister, all of whom live out of town but made the special trip home for a weekend family shoot with their parents.

The energy was infectious as soon as everyone arrived. You could feel the joy and excitement in the air as they reunited and caught up with each other. There were plenty of laughs, shared stories, and a few playful sibling rivalries that made for some candid and heartwarming shots.

We started the session with some classic family portraits, but it wasn’t long before the true personalities began to shine through. The Sweeneys were a fun-loving bunch, quick to joke around and eager to capture both posed and spontaneous moments. The connection and bond between the siblings and their parents were palpable, making each shot a genuine reflection of their family dynamic.

It was an absolute delight to work with the Sweeney family. Their warmth and love for each other made the session not only easy but incredibly enjoyable. We’re so grateful to have been a part of their weekend and to help them create memories that they’ll cherish for years to come.
