I just got back from the best vacation. Seriously, the best! I spent 10 glorious days in the Florida Keys. The Keys are my home away from home. I’ve been going down there since I was 1, and every year, the love grows stronger. It’s my heaven on earth; relaxing, beautiful, fun, and peaceful. The icing on the cake to my vacation is that I got to spend it with my family (the whole family – grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and even the dogs!!!). Things haven’t always been perfect with them, but God has brought so much restoration, especially to my parents, and it’s great to be with them. Living away from them is tough so when I am with them, I want to soak it up.

I have tons of pictures from the trip! Here is the first patch. I love looking through them all again and reliving the trip. I just thought to myself, “This time last week, I was snorkeling.” Crazy how fast time goes by! I was there for 12 days, and each day flew! I would wake up at 9am, and before I knew it, we were out on the boat watching the sun set. That’s the one part of vacation I hate—knowing it is coming to an end. The good news is I am feeling more refreshed and passionate than ever. I was able to disconnect from the business of life, and honestly, that is what I needed. It allowed me time to think and refocus on what I want. Now I’m back and ready to go!

  1. awesome! what did you use to take pictures in the water? do you have a housing for DSLR? one of those rugged point and shoots? something else? 🙂

  2. Hey Elaina!
I have a Go Pro and took the kayak & boat pic (the one with the fish eye look) with that. I also have a iphone waterproof case that was fun to play with too. I will post some of those tomorrow!
